Calendars for the Ministry of Nature of Russia

Task

To develop the idea and design concept of calendars and souvenirs for the Ministry of Nature of Russia, telling about the activities of the Ministry within the framework of the Federal Target Program “Ecology".

Solution

Our task was to describe in as much detail as possible and at the same time simply about all facets of the ministry’s activities and its achievements. To do this, we created a metaphorical style “Harmony of Nature", in which we put 4 main elements – Water, Earth, Air and Fire, to which we linked information about the projects operating under the FTP. The 12 illustrated strips of the wall calendar were supplemented with QR codes leading to the information sites of the projects.

The design concept was adapted not only for different types of calendars, but also for souvenirs, including Christmas toys made of felt, in the form of figurines of 11 Red Book animals included in the biodiversity restoration project.

We have developed a design of felt Christmas decorations in the form of rare animals included in the protection program of the national project “Ecology"
