The Task To create a distinctive visual identity and supporting materials for the “Ayyar Uus” exhibition-fair — a showcase of Yakutia’s finest folk artisans. The Solution The logo and overall visual style of “Ayyar Uus” embody a collective ethnic image — a tribute to the deep-rooted traditions of Yakut craftsmanship. Each element of the identity reflects a core artistic direction celebrated in the region: traditional national sewing, intricate horsehair weaving, bone and wood carving, fine jewelry, and ceramics. For each of these crafts, we developed unique graphic elements inspired by authentic Yakut patterns — symbols passed down through generations, now reborn through design.
